Hopefully your Christmas shopping is all done, and you're getting ready for a festive season with loved ones.

Our December of fine, hot weather seems to have come to an end, just in time for the holidays. The high today is 22 degrees, with a low of 16. Cloud and showers are expected to start, before clearing later on the afternoon, according to the MetService.

As you might expect, Christmas Eve events are fairly limited. For those looking for something to do, there is still The Weekend Sun Christmas Lights Drive, which will take you on a tour of the best-decorated houses in Tauranga and the surrounding district. There's plenty to see in Welcome Bay and Papamoa, including one of this year's winners.
