Cruise ship season is well underway in Tauranga, with the Norwegian Jewel in port today.
It's the second visit for the ship this year, having previously been here on November 25.
The 93,502-tonne, 294 metre-long vessel arrived at 8am from Napier, bringing 2390 passengers and 1072 crew.
It is due to depart for Auckland at 7.30pm.
Tomorrow the Celebrity Solstice is due to make its return to Tauranga, while the gargantuan, 168,666-tonne Ovation of the Seas is expected to be in port on December 22.
