Tauranga MP Simon Bridges and his wife Natalie have welcomed a baby girl into their family.
Jemima Alicja Ruth Bridges was delivered by caesarean at 2pm on Friday.
Jemima weighed 6lb, 14oz.
Simon says his daughter's middle names were after both of her grandparents - his mum is called Ruth and Natalie's mother's name is Alicja.
"We welcome Jemima Bridges into the world. Both Natalie and Jemima are doing well. Thanks to all the amazing staff at Tauranga Hospital," Simon posted on Facebook following the birth of his daughter.
