One of the weighbridges at the Te Maunga Transfer Station will be closed for annual maintenance and inspection this Wednesday afternoon.

It will be closed from 3-5pm and is expected to cause delays for green-waste and landfill customers, as there will be only one weighbridge in operation.

The recycling area will not be affected. Customers with green-waste or landfill are advised to avoid this period or go to the Maleme Street Transfer Station.

One of the Maleme Street weighbridges will be closed on Monday December 4 and Tuesday December 5 for annual maintenance and inspection.

The weighbridge will close from 3pm on the Monday until 5pm Tuesday.

The closure is likely to cause delays for green-waste and landfill customers as there will be only one weighbridge in operation. The recycling area will not be affected. Customers with green-waste or landfill are advised to avoid this period or go to the Te Maunga Transfer Station.

Both scheduled works will be postponed if the weather is inclement.

I think not - what is wrong with doing the work AFTER 5pm - when it is closed to the public ???
