Today's weather forecast is for an often cloudy day with a chance of showers and light winds.

This day in NZ history in 1903 Fitzsimmons won his third world boxing title. Timaru boxer Bob Fitzsimmons became the first man to have won world professional boxing titles in three weight divisions.
