Motoring heaven on The Strand

People wanting to see rally cars close up can head down to The Strand with Rally New Zealand giving people the chance to meet and mingle with their drivers.

The Strand is closed from Harrington St and Devonport Road until 10pm as rally cars, drivers and fellow car enthusiasts share their motor passions.

Rally New Zealand clerk of the course Steve Foster says Hayden Paddon is in town for the event, along with a couple of international entries from New Caledonia and Japan.
