A man is due to be discharged from Tauranga Hospital this morning after being pushed off the balcony of a Mount Maunganui bar last night.
A police media spokesperson says the incident occurred at Mount Mellick.
'Police were called to the Mount Mellick bar on Maungaui Road at around 9.30pm.
'A 42-year-old Auckland man has been charged with assault with intent to injure following the incident.
'He is due to appear in the Tauranga District Court on the October 27.”
