One person has died following a crash on State Highway 41 at Tokaanu,
Police were called to the scene at 11.22am following the fatal crash near Turangi.
Police say one person has died and no one else is injured.
State Highway 41 has been closed at Tokaanu.
Traffic management is in place and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
