A woman who went into premature labour and another suffering from a cardiac emergency had to be flown to Waikato Hospital.
Today, the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched by Tauranga Hospital for an emergency transport of a 32-year-old woman who had gone into premature labour on Tuesday.
'The woman for airlifted to Waikato Hospital for specialist treatment,” says a spokesperson for the rescue chopper.
'The previous day, the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at about 10pm for an emergency transport of a 58-year-old woman, who was suffering a cardiac medical emergency.”
The woman was airlifted from Tauranga Hospital to Waikato Hospital for specialist treatment.
'The flight was conducted under the use of Night Vision Goggles.”
