What’s On? Record Fair & Love Songs

If you’re a fan of vinyl records, the Mount Record Fair is the place to be today. Photo: Mount Record Fair/Facebook.

Morning all! It's Sunday, in case you had a big weekend and aren't quite sure where or when you are.

It's been typical spring weather these past couple days – warm, windy, and a little wet.

That looks set to continue today, with a forecast high of 17 degrees and showers from the afternoon.

The Mount Record Fair is on from 11am to 4pm at Totara Street, Mount Maunganui. Traders and collectors will be there with their vinyl, trading records and making deals, with a range of music styles on offer. Admission is free, so head on down to see what you can find.

Elsewhere we have ‘Love Songs' being performed at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 15 Victoria Road, Mount Maunganui, from 3pm. The classical music concert is put on by the Scholars Pro Musica, and promises ‘charm and outrageous sentimentality'. Tickets are $30 for adults (with one child free) or $20 for students/children. Cash at the door only.

And that's the lowdown for this week. For more events, check out What's On below:
