What’s On? Live Music

Village Cinema will be hosting live music tonight from singer-songwriter Charlotte Yates. File photo.

Who else can smell a hint of spring in the air?

The last few days have been much warmer than usual for August, and today the forecast high is for a balmy 17 degrees, with an overnight low of 10 degrees.

With only a few showers predicted for late afternoon/evening, it could be a great day to stroll along the beach or tackle Tauranga's perennial favourite, the Mount.

Tonight, there is some live music on in the form of top singer-songwriter and recording artist Charlotte Yates, who is teaming up with multi-instrumentalist Gil Eva Craig (bass/tenor horn) to showcase songs hot off the press from Charlotte's upcoming album release, Then The Stars Start Singing, alongside many loved favourites from her extensive back catalogue in a sizzling two-set show.

The show begins at 5pm at Village Cinema in the Historic Village, 17th Ave West. General admission is $25 per person. For more information visit Eventfinda.
