UPDATED: Police are investigating a crash in which a car was driven into a window of a petrol station in Tauranga.
Police were called to the scene of the crash at Gull on Hewletts Road at about 2pm.
A police spokesperson says nobody in the shop was injured.
"Ambulance and Fire are attending to the elderly occupants of the car."
EARLIER:
A car has driven through the front window of a Tauranga petrol station on Hewletts Road.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a car has driven to the shop window of Gull.
They say an elderly couple were in the car and there only appears to be minor injuries.

Let me guess- automatic transmission, elderly driver,wrong gear selection, 1.5 tonne car launched forward by pressing on one pedal: this wouldn't have happened with a manual transmission car...
