A fine day with southwesterly winds

Video and photos by Rosalie Liddle Crawford.

Today the weather forecast is for a fine day with the southwesterly dying out in the evening.

It's a three-clothing-layer and one-windproof-layer day with a high of 16 and an overnight low of 7 degrees.

On this day in 1865 Parliament moved from Auckland to Wellington making Wellington the capital of NZ.

Our sunrise video was filmed in Shark Alley next to Moturiki Island where the fishing should be good around 6-9am and 2-4pm this afternoon.

Keep warm out there!
