A truck has toppled over onto a digger in Omokoroa, but a local resident says it looks like no one has been hurt.

The truck was parked on the side of the road in one of the new subdivisions by Linwood Park when it fell over crushing a digger.

Karen Grant says her daughter heard a loud bang this afternoon around 4pm and wondered what was going on.

'The truck has either gone over the retaining wall or the retaining wall has collapsed.”

She says there seems to be no one hurt as there is no ambulance present on the site.

'People are standing around trying to figure out how to lift it. They have a crane there at the moment.”
