An 85 year old Paeroa man found unconscious I his house was flown to Waikato hospital by the Tauranga based Trustpower TECT Rescue helicopter late Friday afternoon.
The man appeared to have suffered a serious medical event, says pilot Liam Brettkelly. He was stabilised by St John ambulance staff before being flown to Waikato hospital critical condition. The rescue helicopter was called at 4pm.
