Morena and good morning Sunners, and welcome to what's a rather wet Saturday and the start to the weekend.
Rain and possible thunder this morning should ease by the afternoon, so take a jacket if you're going to head out to Greerton Marist's charity match against Rangataua for Homes of Hope, or to keep your costumes dry if you're off to Armageddon at ASB Baypark Arena in Mount Maunganui.
When Greerton Marist's premier side runs out at home at Greerton Park against Rangataua, it will be in a specially designed one-off sponsored jersey in a bid to raise awareness and money for the club's charity of choice, Homes of Hope.
The non-profit organisation is a Greerton-based charity whose mission is to see children safe in strong families and responsive communities, free from abuse, neglect and offending.
The action kicks off with Greerton U13 Black taking Greerton U13 Gold at 11:45am, followed by Greerton Development vs Rangataua Development at 1pm, then the feature match - Greerton Premier vs Rangataua Premier at 2:45pm.
Later this evening down at the clubrooms, people will also have the chance to win for themselves one of 15 game day jerseys which will be up for auction at 7pm.
