Ata marie, diligent SunLive readers. Thanks for logging on to see what's happening this Sunday!

We've got a couple of great events to highlight today, as well as your Sunday regulars listed below.

Since Wednesday, golfers and golf fans have been flocking to the Tauranga golf course in Greerton as the Carrus Tauranga Open – the final event in the Jennian Homes Charles Tour – gets underway. On Wednesday the tournament opened with a Pro Am, in which Sir Bob Charles himself played a round. SunLive managed to score an interview with the golfing great – find out what he thinks of the course (and Donald Trump) here.

The final round of the tournament proper is being played today, with the first shot expected at 9am. For more information, and the current leader board, visit www.golf.co.nz

If you'd much rather spend Sunday with your dog, there's also the option of heading down to Memorial Pool for their ‘Pooches in the pool' event. For one day, dogs will be allowed to swim in the pool before it is emptied for winter. There will also be lots of other entertainment, and free stuff for dogs. Smaller breeds should head down for the 10am session, while larger dogs can go in from 11.30am.

Who wouldn't want to be a dog, huh? Find out what else is on below:
