Service No. 887103 K.E.V. Master Gun Sergeant of 454 Battery of the 76^th (Highland) Field Regiment of the Royal Artillery (Great Britain). One of the last survivors of both the Cherbourg and Normandy allied invasions. Passed away on March 27, 2017 peacefully in Tauranga (formerly of Hamilton) in his 97^th year. Dearly loved husband of Margaret (Peg) deceased. Dearly loved father, grandfather, and great grandfather of Garry and Jan (Tauranga) and their families. In accordance with Roger's wishes a private cremation has been held. Special thanks to the staff at Oakland Health for their loving care and dedication.
