A 42 year-old man has been charged following a road rage incident on The Strand.
Sergeant Wayne Hunter says the man will appear in Tauranga District Court on Thursday February 2, on a charge of disorderly behaviour likely to cause violence.
'Police have not yet heard from the driver of the second vehicle and would encourage him to speak to Tauranga Police as soon as possible.”
Footage supplied to SunLive by a member of the public captured Friday evening's altercation, in which a man stopped his car and got out to speak with the driver in the vehicle behind him.
The video shows both drivers exchanging punches through the open window of the second vehicle.

No need for that behaviour at all on our roads. Why do Kiwis Have no respect for anyone when they get behind the wheel?

Ute guy was a strung duck,he must of got a few choice bruises by now poor bugger. The out of control maniac throwing the punches needs anger management classes and more!!!!The people watching the incident should have intervened more instead of just yelling and watching. It's good the incident was recorded though cameras don't lie.
