Blackcaps' action at Bay Oval

UPDATED 4.35PM: Blackcap Tom Bruce has scored his maiden T20 international half-century against Bangladesh in Mount Maunganui this afternoon.

Bruce's scored his half-century off 32 balls, while his Blackcaps teammate Colin Munro scored 101 off 54 balls earlier in the match.

The first innings is now complete with the Blackcaps finishing on 195/7.

A big six from Kiwi batsman Colin Munro brought up the 100 for the Blackcaps in their T20 match against Bangladesh this afternoon.

After 13 over the Blackcaps are 135/3. Currently at the crease is Munro (92 runs) and Tom Bruce (29).

EARLIER:

The Twenty20 international between the Black Caps and Bangladesh at Bay Oval is underway this afternoon.

The Black Caps claimed the opening T20 by six wickets in Napier, and can claim the series with a win today.

The first ball of the game claimed wicket.

"Full house, not quite 10,000 people here," says one reader who is at the game.
