Morning Sunners, welcome to a blustery early summer's day with fresh westerlies, but no rain forecast.

Two events postponed by weather yesterday are taking place today, Tauranga's Christmas in the Park is due to run today at Blake Park Mount Maunganui from 1pm to 8pm.

Also on today is the Off Roader Rumble at Baypark from 2pm to 6pm after being postponed because of weather yesterday.

Any visitors from the overnighting Cruise ship Celebrity Solstice will have to leave early as the ship is expected to resume her voyage to Wellington at 6pm.

Bay Bible Fellowship/Lord's Day

Carols on the Waterfront

Procession from No 1 The Strand 5.30pm with Mary & Joseph. Carols on the Waterfront at Edgewater Fan 6pm. Free family evening, carol sheets will be distributed to all attendees on the night.

Carol Service

With Children's Nativity Play, St George's Anglican Church, 1 Church St, Gate Pa 6-7pm. The service includes readings about the Christmas story, carols sung by the St George's singers & your favourite carols for everyone to sing. It also includes a nativity play which children of all ages can take part. Supper served afterwards for all who attend. Free admission.

Combined Brass Concert
