Bay of Plenty Regional Council's committee structure for the 2016-2019 Triennium has now been confirmed.
The committee structure includes five core standing committees, four joint committees and five statutory committees to which councillors are appointed.
Announced on Wednesday, the confirmation of the committees follows the appointment of Doug Leeder as chairman and Jane Nees as deputy chair.

- Members – Councillors Crosby, Tahana, von Dadelszen. Independent to be appointed. Ex-officio Chairman Leeder
Komiti Māori
- Chair - Arapeta Tahana
- Deputy Chair – Tipene Marr
- Members – Councillors, Clark, Love, Thurston. Ex-officio Chairman Leeder
Councillor Te Awanuiārangi Black had also been appointed to the Komiti Māori.
Public Transport
- Chair – Lyall Thurston
- Deputy Chair – Norm Bruning
- Members – Councillors Crosby, Nees, Thompson, von Dadelszen, Winters. Ex-officio Chairman Leeder
