A car and a truck have collided on Takitimu Drive/State Highway 2 near the Waihi road off-ramp this afternoon.
A witness at the scene says while the Tauranga-bound lane of Takitimu Drive is not blocked, traffic is crawling past the scene of the crash which occurred shortly after 1pm.
At this stage it is unknown if anyone has been injured as a result of the crash.

Just returned from Matua and can see traffic backed up to the off ramp from 15th Ave at 2.30pm
