A car has ended up on its roof following a crash near Pahoia School this morning.

A reporter at the scene says the crash involved only one vehicle and occurred on the corner of SH2 and Esdaile Road. No one appeared to be injured as a result of the crash.

Western Bay of Plenty District road policing manager Senior Sergeant Ian Campion says a unit has since been dispatched to the scene along with a tow truck.

'The car apparently skidded off the road into bushes and then back onto the road and end up on its roof.

'The crash has caused some disruption to traffic at the moment and one lane of Esdaile Road is blocked."
