A 61-year-old man has been charged following a hit and run in Anzac Parade, Whanganui early on Saturday morning.
The man faces charges of wounding with intent to cause GBH and driving while unlicensed and prohibited.
He is expected to appear in Whanganui District Court on Monday 24 October.
As the matter is now before the court, no further comment will be made.
