All Black flanker Sam Cane has been named on the bench for the Bay of Plenty Steamers Mitre 10 Cup Championship semifinal against Otago tonight.
The Steamers secured their spot in the semis with a 26-24 win over Hawkes Bay last weekend, and the coaches have made one change to the starting 15 that'll take on Otago in Dunedin.
Jesse Parete is the only change and will start at number six after being sidelined with concussion.
While the Steamers bench will see the return of Hooker James O'Reilly and second five eight Terrence Hepetema after being sidelined with injuries. O'Reilly and Hepetema will be joined by Sam Cane on the bench to make up the starting 23.
The Bay of Plenty Steamers take on Otago at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, kick off at 7.35pm.
