Missing $100 note wanted

Seen one of these blowing around Memorial Park today? Photo: Supplied.

The southwester ripped the Rutherfords straight out of her hand, along with the power bill they were intended to pay.

Three $100 notes let loose on the westerly wind. Linley says it was her fast running skills that saved two of them. Along with the bill.

'I was hanging onto my power bill and I was hanging onto the three one hundred dollar notes and - this is the first time it's ever happened - and the whole shemozzle blew out of my hand.

'And I was just wondering if you are prepared to run a story? If there's any kind Samaritan out there who out of the kindness of their heart wants to give my $100 back, if they find it.”

Linley lost the money on11th Avenue near the Kiwibank. The wind was blowing towards Memorial Park.

'I looked under every single car parked outside Kiwibank, and The Mad Butcher. I've driven round the roundabout there on Devonport road by Memorial Park probably about five times. I've crossed over the road and looked under cars there.

'Now either somebody has taken it or it's still out there.”

It was an old note.

'I'm not exactly one of the richest people in New Zealand either, and believe me I'm a bit p****d off about it.”

If you find her money, Linley can be contacted on 5444129.
