Powerco is still investigating the cause of the power cut on Sunday night that stopped power to about 1000 properties in Papamoa.
It was a fault on Powerco's network says Powerco Network Operations Manager Phil Marsh.
Power was cut at 8.30pm. Supply was gradually restored and all affected customers had power back on by 9.30pm.
The cause of the fault is being investigated.
