The Bay's premier music event for 14 to 18-year-olds is returning to Mount Maunganui this weekend.

Bring The Noize is proud to present Blackout which is hitting the stage down at Totara Street in the Mauao Performing Arts Centre on Friday night, kicking off at 8pm.

Spinning the decks on the night will be DJ crews Junai and B2B with Mufasa, and on-top of that, Totara Streets epic lighting rig will be back in play and they'll also be a ton of prizes and giveaways, a free sausage sizzle and other cheap food and drinks, plus an in-house photographer.

'Bust out those black and white, your fluros or skeleton onesie and come along to the next bring the Noize Party,” says BTN organiser Caleb Grace.

'Amongst our usual massive lighting rig we will have black Lights, strobes and more.”

The aim of BTN is to give young people the 'club experience” in a safe and healthy environment.

Running for the past two years now, each Bring The Noize party runs to a different theme and features the freshest local and national DJs spinning the slickest of beats.

A lock in rule will also enforced to ensure once young people are in the venue they are not let out until either the end of the event or they are picked up by their parent or guardian.
