What's on: City to Surf

The first day of daylight saving today is marked with two scheduled outdoor events, the Mainfreight the City to Surf fun run and walk, and the 3km wheel-friendly, pram and stroller-friendly, Walk 2 D'Feet raising funds for motor neurone disease in New Zealand.


Both are scheduled to start at 11am, The city to Surf fromSulphur Point and Walk2 D'Feet at FergusonPark. The rain and wind overnight is expected to continue through the day. Bay of Plenty rain radar shows the rain may ease back to a healthy drizzle during the events, with the deluge expected to resume this afternoon.
