Good morning Sunners, it's another action packed day so make sure you make the most of your Saturday before the weather turns to custard.
MetService is forecasting a few showers and light northeast winds before turning to rain in the evening, so take a jacket if you're heading out to enjoy some of the great events taking place in and around Tauranga, like the Vegan Vibes or Cherry Blossom festivals.

Vegan Vibes is Tauranga's very first vegan festival and is offering a number of different delights –plant-based food, animal and cruelty-free health and beauty products, fashion, children's entertainment, guest speakers, workshops, and live music from Sal Valentine and the Babyshakes.
Organised by Chris and Rachelle Duffy say while the festival has the ‘vegan' moniker, it's an event not solely just for vegans.
'We're trying to encourage people that just want to learn more or want to find out from a sustainable perspective as opposed to an animal rights perspective,” says Rachelle.
'Chris and I aren't vegan, we tend to live more of a vegetarian lifestyle… yet we're putting this on, because we come with an equal perspective; we're sitting in the middle and we want to appeal to everyone and not pigeonhole ourselves.”
Vegan Vibes takes place at 10am-4pm at Soper Reserve next to Rising Tide. Door tickets are $6, children under 14 gain free entry. Eftpos and cash available on the door.
