Man stabbed during work altercation

An altercation between two men at work resulted in one man being stabbed in the leg with a boning knife.

Another is due to appear in Hamilton District Court today.

'Hamilton police arrested a 25-year-old male following an argument between two men at a Frankton business yesterday afternoon,” says a statement by police.

'The argument resulted in one of the men being stabbed in the leg with a boning knife.

The man was transported to Waikato hospital with moderate injuries.

'Police are continuing a scene examination and speaking with witnesses.”

As the matter is before the courts police cannot comment any further.
