BTN bringing the noize Saturday

The Bay's premier event for 14-18-year-olds returns this weekend bigger, bolder and badder than anything you've seen before.

Bring The Noize will be blasting away the final dregs of winter when its Snow Storm Party hits Totara Street at the Mauao Performing Arts Centre this Saturday night, from 8pm.

The Snow Storm Party will feature DJ's Lucas Jory and the boys from Junai spinning the decks, an epic lighting rig and snow machine, plus a ton of prizes and giveaways, cheap food and drinks, as well as an in-house photographer.

So make sure you and your crew are on point and get down to Totara Street this Saturday because this is one party you won't want to miss, says BTN organiser Jay Munro.

'Last year's BTN Winter Wonderland Party sold out quickly, so we are going to do it all over again with Snow Storm.

'On Saturday there'll be one of the largest productions Totara Street has ever seen and the kids are going to get treated to an experience that most R18 shows don't have.”

Running for the past two years now, each Bring The Noize party runs to a different theme and features the freshest local and national DJs spinning the slickest of beats.

Jay explains the aim of BTN is to give young people the 'club experience” in a safe and healthy environment.

'There is a lock in rule enforced to ensure once the kids are in the venue they are not let out until the end of the event, or they are picked up by their parent or guardian,” says Jay.
