Whakatāne motorcylist named

Police have officially named the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the outskirts of Whakatāne on Thursday.

Whakatāne motorcyclist Cody Arama Kerr, 25, was found dead at the scene of the crash on Golf Links Road shortly before 8.30am.

Police say no other vehicles appear to be involved in the fatal incident and its serious crash unit is currently investigating.
