Two girls missing from Hamilton since Sunday could be in the Bay of Plenty or Rotorua, say Waikato Police.

Kazalia Gerrard, 13, and Mykaila Andrews, 12, left Kazalia's home at about 5pm on Sunday. They were spotted in the Hamilton CBD on Monday, but their families have not seen or heard from them since.

"We are concerned due to their ages and the company they may be keeping, and would like to reunite them with their families," said Senior Sergeant Greg Foster.

The girls are believed to be in the Hamilton area but also have relatives in Rotorua and Bay of Plenty. Mykaila is from the Te Pahu area near Pirongia.

Anyone who sees the girls, or has knowledge about their whereabouts, is asked to contact Hamilton Police on 07 858 6200. Alternatively, information can be left anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
