Police and dog teams have secured a suburban area of Henderson Crescent in Tauranga.
Around 7pm SunLive received reports from neighbours of large numbers of police arriving in the Parkvale street, and an ambulance reported leaving shortly after.

A reporter at the scene says part of the street has been cordoned and police and dog teams are active in the area.
