'Obviously this has been very distressing for her, and we need to catch up with these people, so if you have any information we would greatly appreciate it.”

Disgusting specimens of humanity

I know times are tough but to slaughter stock belonging to other people, and that stock being heavily pregnant as well, is just an entirely new low for the human race. If the trauma to the owner wasn't enough, the cruelty to a defenceless animal is truly abhorrent.

Unbelievable..

... What is the human race coming to... this is not normal behaviour! I hope they are caught but I dare say it will be no more than a slap on the hand from our incredibly weak justice system. Sad really.

"Rustlers can face a fine up to $100k & 2 years in jail"? What a JOKE, as if any criminal in nz ever gets even a tiny fraction of these sentences. Time New Zealanders were given the right to defend themselves and their own property..then you'd see a bit more justice served.
