Good in the Bay hood

Z Energy's Good in the Hood initiative is heading into its final week and the staff wanted to share some of the fun.

The petrol company's Kim Gillies travelled from Bethlehem to Opotiki snapping staff and customers involved in the annual initiative.

'Every site nationally receives funding from Z to donate to four local community groups, it works by our customers voting over the month in site. The votes will be tallied next week and each group will get a percentage of $4000, guaranteed.

'This creates such great awareness for our local groups, not only granting them funding but by getting their name and what they do out there, it also exposes them to more volunteers willing to give a helping hand.”
