Dorothy Wilson is living proof that cancer, especially breast cancer, is no respecter of age.
The Otumoetai nonagenarian has had breast cancer four times, including a mastectomy age 94.

And this weekend, now 96, the adventurer is heading out on a dragon boat powered by breast cancer survivors to help fundraise for the breast cancer cause.
'Adventurer” because only two years ago she went joy-riding in a Tiger Moth.
Dorothy will be out of her element again this weekend. She will be out on Tauranga Harbour for a romp with the 'Boobops” dragon boat team.
The Boobops captain uncovered Dorothy Wilson's close association with the cause when they visited her recently with a raffle prize.
She had been a founder of cancer support services in Tauranga. So they invited her to reconnect by taking a dragon boat ride with them.
She accepted.
The dragonboat of Boobops – 20 women who have all survived breast cancer - will be paddling from the Sulphur Point Marina at 9am on Sunday to Trinity Wharf for a fundraising morning tea.
Mrs Wilson will be at the function and then take a ride on the harbour.
