What’s On: model yacht sailing

Good morning Sunners with the MetService predicting a northerly breeze, often cloudy and the late chance of some drizzle. There might be the thought to stay indoors.

But why not head down to the pond behind 24 Montego Drive Papamoa to experience radio controlled model yachts?

Photo/YouTube.

Sailing gets underway at 1.30pm and you will get the chance to see and sail electronic and similar 3ft long yachts for fun. If you are wanting more information then contact Graham on 572 5419.

If radio control model yacht sailing isn't what you are after then check out some of the other great activities happening in the Bay.
