Police are asking for the public's help in locating James Hendrix Lahina who is wanted to arrest on theft and breach of bail charges.

Lahina is described as 182cm tall and of medium to solid build.

Lahina has a number of tattoos including the word 'ERENA” on his neck and the word 'RHYTHM” on his right forearm.

Lahina was last known to be in the Manawatu area, but may be in the wider lower North Island area or potentially travelling to Christchurch.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Lahina, or if they have seen him, are asked to call Sergeant Shane Brown on 021 191 4578.

Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously via the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
