More than 50 of Tauranga’s past and present marchers gathered at Fergusson Park to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tauranga Leisure Marchers on Thursday.
Organisers say it was a great day for all involved and the private celebrations were well received.

Marchers gathered in Fergusson Park go for a quick march around the field.
The Tauranga Leisure Marchers did a marching demonstration and had a luncheon with members of other clubs.
There was also a short memorial service for marchers who had passed away since the club began in 1991.

Foundation member Pattie Dickson and founder Audrey Rodgers look back on the history of their marching team.
