In step for 50 years

More than 50 of Tauranga’s past and present marchers gathered at Fergusson Park to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Tauranga Leisure Marchers on Thursday.

Organisers say it was a great day for all involved and the private celebrations were well received.

Marchers gathered in Fergusson Park go for a quick march around the field.

The Tauranga Leisure Marchers did a marching demonstration and had a luncheon with members of other clubs. 

There was also a short memorial service for marchers who had passed away since the club began in 1991.
