Hilarious one-woman show

A warm and witty one-woman show which shares motherly wisdom in all its hilarious glory is coming to Tauranga next month.

Arts On Tour and Baycourt Community and Arts Centre presents Kiwi writer and comedian Michele A'Court's highly anticipated show Stuff I Forgot To Tell My Daughter on March 14.

The acclaimed show deals with all the big and small issues Michele forgot to tell her 23-year-old daughter Holly when she left home – from the right way to store ginger, to an explanation of feminism.

Baycourt manager Megan Peacock Coyles says having seen the production in Auckland it's definitely a show you don't want to miss.

'Michele has an incredibly unique, intelligent and funny way of presenting the world and everyone will relate to her stories and her pertinent assessments from a ‘grown up' women's perspective,” says Megan.

Michele is not only an award winning comedian, having been named as the NZ Female Comedian of the Decade back in 2010, but also an actor, MC, journalist, social commentator, and most importantly, a proud mother and grandmother.

Following her first performance of Stuff I Forgot To Tell My Daughter at the NZ International Comedy Festival in 2013, Michele transcribed the show into a bestselling book which was released by Harper Collins in April of last year.

'For people who have had children, those who might have children, and those who have been children, it is a must-see show.” says Arts on Tour.
