An armed man being sought by police today has given himself up.
Police had been searching for Ihaka Paul today after reports of him chasing a man down a Wairoa street with a gun.
He has been wanted by police since January 29, when he was involved in an armed incident in Hastings.
Paul gave himself up to police around 7.15pm tonight at a house in Frasertown near Wairoa.
There were no issues with his arrest and no-one was injured.
He will be facing a number of charges related to both incidents.
