One Love festival on the move

Due to overwhelming ticket demand, the One Love 2016 festival will be relocating from the Wharepai Domain to the larger Tauranga Domain this year.

The move to a larger venue has just further reinforced One Love's reputation as one of the most popular reggae festivals in not only New Zealand but the entire Southern Hemisphere.

Presented by PATO Entertainment, the move means there's now an extra 250 VIP tickets, plus GA passes available for the festival which is taking place on Waitangi Weekend in February.

Celebrating its fourth anniversary, One Love 2016 features some of the biggest reggae stars on the planet including Steel Pulse, Third World, Common Kings, Herbs and Ardijah, as well as the highly-anticipated return of the much-loved Nesian Mystik.

To make it even sweeter, One Love is offering two-day GA passes for $120 and two-day VIP passes for $165 up until January 15.

The festival is also offering camping for 2,500 people at ASB Baypark stadium and includes chartered bus travel to and from the venue plus a complimentary breakfast on the Sunday.

As a resident close to the domain, all I can ask is, have your fun,but please "share the love", and think of others by not using the road verges and our sections as your dumping ground for your alcohol bottles and trash, it's quite ironic the area being an alcohol free zone, yet concert goers pre load to their hearts content , to our detriment, much is made of no alcohol being allowed into the event, and having a huge security staff at the gates, but nothing is done to stop many gorging themselves in a alcohol free zone before they enter, reggae may have soul, but many of the concert goers only have " the love" for themselves........ have fun, dance until you can dance no more, but please show some respect for others!!!!. and "peace man"
