Police are asking for any information in relation to a boat stolen from the Bay of Plenty.

An alloy runabout was taken from a Rotorua property on December 9.

Police say it had a 25HP Yamaha outboard motor and was on a 2015 Launchpad trailer.

The trailer's registration number is: 3C850.

'The boat had trout fishing rods and two life jackets, one red and one yellow,” says a statement from police.

People with information about the boat are asked to contact the Police Maritime Unit on: 0800 102 835.
