A lucky Lotto player who purchased their ticket in Tauranga is $20,080 richer after winning Lotto Second Division.

The player, who purchased their ticket at Pak'n'Save on Cameron Road in Tauranga, won $18,634, and joins five other players to hit the prize pool.

The Bay of Plenty player also won Powerball second division, taking their total winnings to $20,080.

A player from Christchurch also won Powerball second division.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at: mylotto.co.nz or through Lotto NZ's ticket-checker smartphone app.
