Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Te Puna Road this morning, where a person was understood to be trapped in their vehicle.
Exact details are yet to emerge, but an eyewitness has called the SunLive news hotline suggesting the vehicle involved is a people mover that has flipped after hitting another car.

Fire Service Northern Communications Centre have confirmed the incident and are in attendance along with St John ambulance and police.

Seem to be a lot of people determined to test the safety rating of their vehicles by doing questionable things on a daily basis , or just oblivious to common sense.
