What's On: Steamers in action

Good morning Sunners, It's going to be a reasonably nice day today with the sun making an appearance with a possible high of 20C.

So if you are looking for something to do. Why not head down to ASB Bay Park Stadium and give our boys the Bay of Plenty Steamers your support.

They take on Wellington today at 4.35pm, and it should be a cracker. A bonus point win would see the Steamers leap frog Wellington into second place in the ITM Cup Championship division.

Coach Clayton McMillan has been building a pretty strong team spirit and it's starting to show with the side have a good 37-5 win over Northland last week.

The Steamers have one more regular season match next week against Otago on October 11, if they can secure a win and take second place they will get a home semi-final. So good luck boys.

If rugby isn't your thing then maybe check out some of the other things on today.
