Police are investigating a crash which left a vehicle on its roof on State Highway 2, near Katikati.
Police, firefighters and St John Paramedics were called to the single vehicle crash on the corner of SH2 and Matahui Road just before 4pm.

Callers to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline who drove past the crash say it appears the vehicle lost control after hitting some sort of substance on the road.
The witnesses said there was no one trapped inside the vehicle and it appeared to have hit a bank before rolling onto its roof.

A vehicle can,t loose control.Only a driver can.

We keep telling them but they don't listen. Cars have drivers and drivers lose control. Stop blaming the car.
